THE CONTEXT

ima4ima is a social network for pregnant women and early mothers

Accompanying them throughout their pregnancy and childbirth, with thousands of other pregnant women. The goal is to add a webstore and make the informative site more intuitive to use and usable.

My main interviews were with the head of business deveopment at ima4ima and with the program management office analyst at ima4ima, they gave the information i needed About the feedback they received from their Customers.
Accordingly, the personas were chosen and i have focused In solving their issues

INSPIRATION

My design was inspired by the artist Kate Ballis
“Infra Realism” series

Define colors on the same scale that form a unified language. Minimalist but yet bright, vivid and full of contrast.

Motivation:
“All the information in one place”

I would like:
The site needs to be redesigned and it should have a webstore, for all the product it represents.
Like, one stop shop.

Motivation:
“Now that im pregnant, i use more the Consultants Page and the coupones page”.

I would like it to be:
More responsive. Mobile display visibility is not formatted correctly.

SOLUTIONS

But Hey!
A better UX design and small changes
affect the greater ecosystem.

GOALS

My goal was to achive two main
initial goals

First, i had to increase the number of useers.
And then build a site store for them to create a “one stop shop”.

The advertisement on the left is not in a defined hierarchy.
Lack of design the button and dropdowns element.
The information of the coupone is very small, almost cant see.

New

  • An option to “subscribe”.
  • Coupones icons are orgenized according to the hierarchy.
  • The categories line give the right options.
  • On mouse over the coupone, we see details and “add to the basket” option.
  • A red warning above to draw the user attention

Signup/Signin

Current

New

  • A pop up listing instead of full screen.  Easier  and faster to toggle between them.
  • On signup there are specific sections to fill in-very short and does’t make the user despair and leave the page.
  • Signin/up through Facebook to allow an easier and faster registration.
